From the counter table · Patch 7.2dOne of these champions is not usually played in this lane — treat the verdict as a rough guide.
How to play it
- Press early
Tristana is stronger in the first levels — shove and deny farm.
- Poke and back off
Use your range: hit, then step back before Zed reaches you. Never stand where they can.
- Physical resistance
Zed deals physical damage — Death's Dance as your 2nd or 3rd item.

- Full combo or nothing
Zed is squishy — wait for every ability, go in once. No half-combo trades.
When you are in danger
- Full HP or back off
Zed's burst kills from half HP. No trades under 60%, and buy Immortal Shieldbow early.
