Use your range: hit, then step back before Garen reaches you. Never stand where they can.
- Long fights
Garen is a tank — build sustained damage and keep hitting; burst won't do it.
When you are in danger
- Full HP or back off
Garen's burst kills from half HP. No trades under 60%, and buy Banshee's Veil early.
