Stack ability power and magic penetration to punch through MR, and target enemies who didn't itemize against magic. Most AP champions are squishy casters, so position carefully and use your range to stay safe.

Countered by MR stacking and items like Mercury's Treads or Maw of Malmortius, and most casters are squishy themselves.
