Champions whose damage is primarily magic and is reduced by magic resist.

Playstyle

Stack ability power and magic penetration to punch through MR, and target enemies who didn't itemize against magic. Most AP champions are squishy casters, so position carefully and use your range to stay safe.

Strengths

High burst potential, strong AOE damage, and counters armor-heavy enemy comps.

Weaknesses

Countered by MR stacking and items like Mercury's Treads or Maw of Malmortius, and most casters are squishy themselves.
